11. Third-Party Services

Gitty may rely on third-party providers for cloud hosting, GPU infrastructure, Pixel Streaming, AI functionality, analytics, communications, security or other technical services. Availability and performance of these providers may affect the Gitty experience.

12. Availability and Changes

Gitty may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the MVP at any time. These Terms may also be updated as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the MVP is provided on an 'as available' and experimental basis. Gitty does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of experimental outputs or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Some wellbeing-related information may receive additional protection under applicable law. Where explicit consent or another specific condition is required for sensitive information, research or personalisation, Gitty will use the appropriate mechanism.

The final lawful-basis wording should be reviewed and adapted to the legal entity operating Gitty and the countries in which the MVP is offered.

11. Data Minimisation and Pseudonymisation

Where practicable, Gitty may use participant IDs rather than names in session datasets. Recruitment/contact information should be stored separately from session or research information where reasonably possible. Pseudonymised information remains personal information if Gitty or another party can reasonably reconnect it to an individual.

12. Data Retention

Gitty retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and applicable legal requirements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods. When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or appropriately anonymised.

Before broad public testing, Gitty should publish specific retention periods or clear criteria for determining those periods.

13. Data Security

Gitty uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

14. International Processing

Gitty's service providers or research partners may process information in countries other than the country in which a participant lives. Where required by applicable law, Gitty will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

15. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable law and legal basis.

Participation in the MVP is voluntary. You may stop using Gitty at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

16. Automated Decision-Making

The current Gitty MVP is not intended to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on participants. AI-generated recommendations, interactions, activity scores and wellbeing-related outputs should not be treated as professional, medical or clinical decisions.

17. Children

The current Gitty MVP testing programme is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Gitty does not intentionally invite children to participate in this MVP testing programme.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Policy may be updated as Gitty develops, adds new features, changes providers or changes its data practices. Material changes will be communicated where required.
